Mentor Office Hours 8/11: Pitch Coaching with Scott Brovsky

Scott mentors and raises equity capital for tech startups from the University of California, Southern California, and Montana. He focuses in the Climate tech, AI, Agtech, B2B SaaS, and Life Science verticals.

He has been working with the University of California Riverside mentoring entrepreneurs and tech startups since January 2017. He has helped raise over $45M in Angel, Venture Capital, and non-dilutive grants for the startups that he mentors. In 2021, Scott Co-Founded the largest pitch competition in the Inland SoCal region called Riverside Angel Summit (RAS). RAS raised an $84,000 special purpose vehicle (SPV) called Citrus Seeds LLC to invest in the winners of Riverside Angel Summit.

Scott has been a Founder or Founding Executive of five tech startups including the VC funded mobile games studio Muti Labs, the Temecula based sports tech company NZN Labs/LIT Pro and he had some beginners luck selling his first company Industrial Strength Network (an early interactive agency) to frog design as an acquihire in 1998.

September 30th

Office Hours 1pm-5pm

Founders sign up for 30-minute mentoring sessions at the Sidecar where mentors will provide expertise and knowledge and founders will be able to ask personalized questions and have one on one time with successful advisors, entrepreneurs, and other founders.

Summit Soiree 5pm-8pm

The Startup Summit Soiree is an evening of appreciation for the mentors, advisors, and trainers who enable Early Stage Montana's efforts to grow and educate Montana's startup community. Sample local whiskeys during the Whiskey Pitch Sessions where you can hear a quick pitch from the cohort companies competing on Saturday. The event will feature heavy appetizers, silent auction items, and an opportunity to meet like-minded people who share a love for Montana and mentoring next-generation founders. Attendees who purchase Soiree tickets will receive free VIP passes and reserved seating at the Montana Ideas Fest on Saturday.

Montana Startup Showcase

Watch top startups in the state pitch to be named the Early Stage MT Startup of the Year. The startups pitching are the teams selected as the 2022 Tech Accelerator cohort and this is the grand finale of all their efforts! Get a front-row seat to see Montana's brightest innovators prepare to take off.

The HyperAccelerator

August 8th-12th, 2022

MSU: Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship

The HyperAccelerator is the second part of our three-part Tech Accelerator Series series designed to recruit, train, and showcase the highest-potential startups in the state. It is a 50-hour intensive training program where startups learn the fundamentals about scaling a successful startup and meet a rich network of experienced advisors, mentors, and trainers. The program is free for selected Montana-based startups who apply and participate in the Regional Roadshow events in June.
